Princeton Dominates on Way to Women's Round-Robin Crown

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- With one of the most dominant performances in League history, Princeton ran away with the Ivy League Fencing Round-Robins women's crown on Sunday at Harvard University's Gordon Track.
It was Princeton's fourth consecutive title. Columbia finished second with a 5-1 mark, the Lions' fifth-straight runner-up finish. Harvard finished third for the third straight season.
The Tigers won 129 of 162 bouts over the two days including a 50-4 mark in saber. Sisters Eliza and Gracie Stone went a combined 31-0 and were honored with the Most Outstanding Performer and Most Outstanding Rookie awards by the League's coaches.
They were joined on first-team All-Ivy by teammates Diamond Wheeler and Anna Van Brummen, Columbia's Margaret Lu, Jackie Dubrovich, Lydia Kopecky and Nzingha Prescod and Harvard's Emma Vaggo.
Van Brummen was the individual leader in epee with a 15-1 mark, edging out Vaggo who finished at 16-2. Lu had the best mark in foil with a 16-2 record. Eliza Stone was 16-0 and Gracie Stone was 15-0 in saber.
