CHERRY HILL, N.J. -- All eight Ivy League women's crews will converge on Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J. Sunday, May 15, for the 38th running of the Eastern Association of Women's Rowing Colleges (EAWRC) Sprints.

Princeton is once again the favorite to take home the Sally P. Shoemaker Ivy League Trophy for the first time since 2006. The Tigers look to break Yale's two-year streak of coming across the line with the League's fastest varsity eight boat.

Headed into the 2011 EAWRC Sprints, it’s a similar storyline: everyone is chasing Princeton. The Tigers have not lost a race in the Varsity or Second Varsity Eights this season and come into the Sprints ranked first in the EAWRC in both eights, and tied for first in the national polls for the Varsity Eight.
