PRINCETON, N.J. -- Harvard sophomore infielder Erin Lockhart and sophomore pitcher Kathleen Duncan were selected as the Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, after a 4-1 weekend at the Long Beach State/Cal State Fullerton Invitational. Brown freshman shortstop Kaitlin Okimoto was named the Rookie of the Week.
- Harvard boasts the top record in the Ivy League at 7-3 overall.
- Six Ivies will participate in tournaments this weekend—Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard and Princeton.
- Penn's Alexis Sargent and Harvard's Sarah Smith own a League-best three victories on the season, while Sargent paces the Ivies with 34 strikeouts.
- Harvard's Kathleen Duncan (1.42) and Smith (2.10) claim the top two ERAs in the League. The duo also sits at No. 1 (Duncan, 3) and No. 2 (Smith, 2) in saves.
- Columbia's Madison Gott leads the League with four home runs.
- Penn's Jess England and Harvard's Maddy Kaplan pace the Ivy League with nine runs scored, while Penn's Sarah Cwiertnia claims a conference-high 10 RBIs.
- Three Ivies are hitting .500-or-above thus far: Princeton's Megan Donahey (.667), Cornell's Michiko McGivney (.625) and Princeton's Allison Harvey (.500).

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Harvard sophomore infielder Erin Lockhart (Lincoln, Neb.) hit .364 to help Harvard to a 4-1 mark in the Long Beach State/Cal State Fullerton Invitational.
The Lincoln, Neb., native had a double, two home runs and two walks on the week, while tallying three runs scored and four RBIs. Lockhart had hits in four-of-five games, including go-ahead home runs in the Crimson's victories over Cal State Fullerton on March 10 and Longwood on March The sophomore leads the Crimson with two home runs and eight RBIs this season.
Lockhart is the second Harvard student-athlete to be named Player of the Week this season, joining junior outfielder Maddy Kaplan (Feb. 27).

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Harvard sophomore pitcher Kathleen Duncan (Allendale, N.J.) played a key role in three Crimson victories at the Long Beach State/Cal State Fullerton Invitational.
On March 10 against San Diego, Duncan allowed one run over the first four innings, then re-entered the game in the sixth to help Harvard preserve its lead. The Crimson would go on to win 5-4, with Duncan earning her first save of the season. She also picked up a win against Long Beach State on March 11 and a save against Longwood on March 12. On the week, the Allendale, N.J., product accumulated a 2.21 ERA over 12.2 IP. She allowed 16 hits and four earned runs, while striking out three.
Duncan joins Crimson sophomore pitcher Sarah Smith (Feb. 27) as the second Harvard pitcher to be dubbed Pitcher of the Week this season.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Brown freshman shortstop Kaitlin Okimoto (Burbank, Calif.) hit .462 in five outings for the Bears.
The Burbank, Calif., native accounted for both of Brown's runs on the week with a run scored and an RBI in a 2-for-3 effort vs. Fordham on March 11. Okimoto also added a double and a walk for the Bears.
Okimoto is the first Brown student-athlete to be selected as the Rookie of the Week since Katie Orona on April 27, 2015.
