ITHACA, N.Y. -- Princeton withstood a valiant Yale comeback of four goals in a seven-minute span in the fourth quarter to hold on to a 7-6 win and advance to the championship game of the 2010 Ivy League Men's Lacrosse Tournament Presented by Champion. The Tigers face Cornell in Sunday's showdown at Noon on ESPNU.

On the strength of three goals by Jack McBride, Princeton held a commanding 7-2 lead going into the heart of the fourth quarter until Yale exploded with two goals each from Matt Fuchs and Gregory Mahony to pull with one goal with just under two minutes remaining. The Tigers held on in those final two 120 seconds to move on the tournament's inaugural championship game.
