PRINCETON, N.J. -- All eight Ivy League men’s golf teams will begin their spring schedules in the coming days as they train for the Ivy League Championship, which looms on April 22-24 at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson, N.J.
Penn was the first team to compete in 2016, as the Quakers played at the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla., March 11-12 and finished 12th.
Hitting the course this weekend will be Columbia and Harvard, with the Lions traveling to the Desert Shootout in Scottsdale, Ariz., and the Crimson teeing off at the Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Ga.
Princeton’s first action will come on Monday and Tuesday at the Barona Collegiate Cup in Lakeside, Calif.
Next weekend, Yale begins its spring season at The Goodwin in Stanford, Calif., March 24-26, while Dartmouth joins Harvard at the Furman Intercollegiate in Greenville, S.C.
The two final teams to get underway will be Brown and Cornell. The Bears will join Columbia at the Anteater Invitational in Laguna Niguel, Calif., March 28-29, while the Big Red welcomes Dartmouth to the Cornell Spring South Florida Invitational in West Palm Beach, Fla., April 2-3.
