Seven Field Hockey Teams Earn National Academic Team Awards

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Seven Ivy League field hockey
teams earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFCA)
National Academic Team Awards for the 2010 season, the NFHCA
announced Tuesday. The seven teams to earn the award were Columbia,
Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton and Yale.
The National Academic Team Award is presented to all field hockey
teams that had a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall of 2010.
Overall, 52 Div. I field hockey teams earned the honor, which
carries the full title of: 2010 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Collegiate
National Academic Team Awards.
The NFHCA National Academic Squad individual honorees will be
released at a later date.
